So I have had a busy week, as well as a night away with the family to rest so I am playing catch up with my blog… I will very briefly go through these last few letters…
I am not finding this month easy… It has been hard some days to come up with the photo to go with the letter and some days it has been hard to think of what I want to share about God, but I am learning through this and even though it has been hard I am enjoying it. I hope you are too…
G is for … My God gives good gifts… God is so Good…
When I look at the flowers around, just like the local Gardenia we have here I can see How he provides for even the flowers of the field. In Matthew 6:28 – 34 it talks about how even the flowers are dressed by God, how much more will our heavenly Father provide for us and look after our needs. My God is Good!!
H is for… Hearing… My God Hears my prayers and every cry of my heart! He is so HOLY and HUGE… yet he HEARS me in my time of need…. This just shows me how he loves me and cares for all my needs…
Psalm 145 says
He fulfills the desire of those who fear him;
he also hears their cry and saves them
I is for… Illuminate… My God Illuminates and shines a path for me. He shows me truth, light and freedom. Through His word my way is illuminated… Psalm 119 says
Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path
My God ILLUMINATES my path…
J is for… Just… Not like this juice but it did get me thinking… We use the word Just as a way of saying “thats all it is”… Just… Its only Juice… Just… Or its only me…. Just… if we use the word like we use it in every day language for God… our God is Just God… He is all that we need… We only need God… Just God!! We sing a song in worship here and the words are..
“All I need is You Lord, is You Lord, All I need is You”
This is such a powerful prayer… all we need is God… He is all sufficient, all faithful, all powerful, all wisdom, all Love.. and all that we need is Just God!!
K is for … King… My God is my King…
1 Timothy 6:15 – 16 says
which he will display at the proper time—he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen
Such an amazing verse that shows His Lordship! He is King of Kings, Lord of Lords, He is Immortal.. what an Amazing God we serve!!!
Sorry it has been a long blog, but I have caught up now… see you tomorrow for L… 🙂
